Everest, in collaboration with D3O, has developed a back protector for the youngest riders. This partnership has resulted in Everest being the first in the world to launch D3O's BP4 plate for juniors. The advantage of BP4 is that it is soft and flexible against the body – without compromising safety. Upon impact and shocks to the protective plate, the intelligent D3O material becomes rigid and distributes the force evenly over a larger area to provide the user with effective protection. The protective plate is integrated into a flexible and well-ventilated vest made of stretchy mesh material, manufactured from recycled polyester.

The junior-adapted design provides a perfect fit that follows the body's movements, while the adjustable waistband with Velcro makes it easy to get the protection to sit exactly right. With a protection rating of "Level 1" and a "Full back" design that covers the largest possible protection area according to the standard, this back protector is a reliable choice for all adventures – whether on the ski slopes, snowboarding, or mountain biking in the terrain.
